The exciting endeavor is a part of Concept Kitchen 2025, the retailer's vision for how technology could aid food preparation in the future. This remarkable piece of furniture, dubbed "A Table For Living," can be used as a recorder, a cooking device, and even a mobile phone charger. While the miraculous gadget won't be mass-produced just yet, a demo is currently on display at Milan's IKEA Temporary through the fall. The exhibition also introduces the idea of a vending shelf where you can get fresh groceries on demand. With fridges and range tops rendered obsolete, imagine how much room this could free up.
