The San Francisco property market must be in a pretty bad place. How else to explain why the extended Tanner brood are still all living under one roof after 28 years?
We can presumably get to that bottom of that when the Full House reboot, Fuller House, debuts on Netflix. The anchor of ABC's TGIF lineup just picked up a 13-episode from Netflix, original castmember John Stamos announced on last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Have mercy, etc.
Stamos, who played the mullet-wearing but still crush-worthy Uncle Jesse, will produce and play a guest role on the reboot, which this time focuses on the younger, female generation of Tanners.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the reboot will D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron-Bure) seeking live-in support from younger sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) after her husband dies. D.J. is now a vet who is pregnant with her third child, Kimmy is a single mom with a teenage daughter named Ramona, and Stephanie is an aspiring musician. Together, they'll pitch in two raise D.J.'s two sons, 12-year-old troublemaker J.D. (really, D.J.?) and nerdy 7-year-old Max.
The rest of the original stars, including Dave Coulier, Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, and a pair of unknown twins called Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who haven't been seen since, are in talks to reprise their roles.
