Gisele Quits The Catwalk & Gets A Sweet Love Letter From Tom Brady

After 20 years of strutting her stuff, Gisele Bündchen took a final stroll down the catwalk yesterday. The supermodel, 34, closed out her runway career with three looks for Colcci — a brand she’s been collaborating with since the early days — at São Paulo Fashion Week in her native Brazil.

In a statement to Brazilian newspaper Folha de São Paulo early this week, the icon explained her decision to leave the catwalk. “Automatically my body tells if what I do is with it, and it asked to stop. I respect my body, it’s a privilege to be able to stop. Stopping will leave room for other projects I have for myself,” Bündchen said.

What those new projects could be are anyone’s guess — but from the sound of the love letter Tom Brady wrote to his wife, the pair has grand plans on the horizon:

"Congratulations Love of my Life. You inspire me every day to be a better person," Brady posted on Facebook. “I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished on the runway. I have never met someone with more of a will to succeed and determination to overcome any obstacle in the way. You never cease to amaze me. Nobody loves life more then [sic] you and your beauty runs much deeper then [sic] what the eye can see. I can't wait to see what's next. I love you. #‎GOAT #‎thebestisyettocome."

When the show ended, all the models took to the stage to say goodbye, wearing T-shirts imprinted with that world-famous face and sky-high cheekbones. Bündchen hugged it out before throwing a final fist pump and making not just the end of a show, but the end of an era.
