Joni Mitchell is in intensive care at a Los Angeles hospital today, the BBC reports. The singer was found unconscious in her home on Tuesday afternoon. She was rushed to the hospital. According to Mitchell's web site, she "regained consciousness on the ambulance ride to an L.A.-area hospital," where she is now in intensive care. Her site tells fans the singer is "undergoing tests and is awake and in good spirits." Mitchell told Billboard in December she hasn't been traveling as much these days due to her Morgellons Disease. According to Billboard, the "rare skin condition she's had for years makes plane travel nearly impossible" and has "effectively rendered her unable to sing, perform, or record ever again." Though, there's no word yet on whether her Morgellons Disease is connected to her hospitalization. Mitchell, 71, is an eight-time Grammy Award winner.
