Oh, you know someone is in deep when they start talking to
the world about their new boo's eyes. And when that someone is Selena Gomez,
we're ready to swoon right along with her. After months of being coy about
whether she and EDM artist Zedd are more than "collaborators," she
got a wee bit gushy in an interview on Radio Disney's Alli Simpson Show (via Us Weekly).
"He's this cute little German, and he's got really
beautiful eyes, and he's very sweet and funny," she said, though she still hasn't outright called him her boyfriend. "I respect his vision, because he has a way of
knowing how important his role is as an EDM artist."
Ooh, yeah. Respect his vision ... and your vision of him,
girl. This is good. After so many public ups and downs with Justin Bieber, it's
great to see her have fun with a guy she also gets along with professionally.
And given how they met, they seem to have gotten off to a, um, comfortable
start.
"We were recording using the same building and he
needed to use my bathroom," she said, echoing the story Zedd himself told a couple of weeks ago. "We ended up talking, sharing music and it happened
organically."
Selena, who busts her butt going from touring to acting in
movies to recording albums, also seems to like the fact that Zedd is a hard
worker too.
"He doesn’t spend most of his time traveling the word DJing.
He really spent so much time on this record. He wanted everything — from the
lyrical content, to who sang it, and how they sang it. He’s great, and very
talented."
