Rihanna Sees Your Double Denim, Raises You Camo

There is not a single clothing item, print, or trend Rihanna can't pull off. Sweats on sweats? Bad Gal RiRi does athleisure better than anyone we know. Cupcake skirts? No one makes a statement quite like Rihanna. Her ability to flaunt any silhouette and color combo, no matter how unlikely, is unparalleled. Case in point: earlier this week, when she was spotted piling up on camouflage on her way to the gym in New York. Just when we were prepping our best Canadian tuxedos for springtime, Rihanna makes us want to double the camo instead of the denim. How does Rihanna pull off slightly different versions of the same print? By playing with the color palette. She topped off her black, gray, white, and navy Christopher Kane sweats set with a classic, green-and-brown-printed parka from the BAPE x Puma collaboration. That, plus a healthy dose of RiRi confidence, and you can strut your clashing camo like it ain't no thing. (By the way, what is it about New York and super-elevated gymwear? Is there any safe space where our outfits don't have to bring it?) This look is not for the print-shy. But, in our efforts to channel our inner Bad Gal, we're recreating this edgy take on the sweatsuit, below.
