Miley Shares Haunting New Song On Instagram

Miley Cyrus just showed that her stunning cover of Paul Simon's "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover" at the Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special might be an indicator of the direction her music is taking. The short clip shows the blonde pop star in a recording studio, singing, "Why do people only show forgiveness, when they wanna sound cool in a song," in a slight country twang over a slowed down folky beat. We don't recognize the lyrics, but they sound very much like a subject Miley would take on in her music.  She captioned the video, "studioooooooooooooo @waynecoyne5 @katyweaver @cheythom @vijatm #turnted." We can't wait to hear the rest of what the ever-evolving singer is working on, reportedly with Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips (who is tagged in the post, so it seems super likely).
