America's Sweetheart just crossed paths with the Most Hated Woman in Britain — and totally showed her who's boss.
For those not up to speed on their nasty Twitter trolls, Katie Hopkins is a British reality star who seemingly makes a living by waiting for people to do something she deems offensive. She then tweets despicable comments about it, the media laps it up, and sensible folks like you and me grit our teeth and feel the veins pop in our heads.
It was just a matter of time before the professional bully cast her glare at Kelly Clarkson. The singer's crime? Having a baby and not, like, subsisting on a diet of Certs and miso soup in order to get the weight off. Bear in mind that Hopkins' Twitter bio states this: "Gained & lost 3.5 stones to prove fat people are lazy."
Last month, Hopkins couldn't resist throwing some major shade Clarkson's way. "Did she eat all her backing singers?" Hopkins tweeted. "Darling, if you had a baby a year ago, that is not baby weight. It is fat."
This week, she decided to stir up more drama at Clarkson's expense.

"Oh, and she's tweeted something nasty about me?" Clarkson responded. "That's because she doesn't know me. I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will.
"I've just never cared what people think," she added. "It's more if I'm happy and I'm confident and feeling good, that's always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family — I don't seek out any other acceptance."
That's our girl. Way to stand up to the Katie Hopkins of the world.
