Northside Festival Is BACK — & It’s Better Than Ever

Looking to uncover the next big thing? When it comes to music, innovation, and film, Brooklyn's annual Northside Festival is the event we look to for what's new, what's cool, and what's seriously about to explode on the mainstream — and this year's seven-day party is no exception. Forget Coachella #FOMO. Music lovers can get down to a killer lineup that includes hip-hop duo Run the Jewels, indie rock band Built to Spill (who just announced their North American tour), and cool girl Neko Case (they'll all be playing at outdoor spots like McCarren Park and 50 Kent Avenue). Techies can catch a glimpse at the lives of too-cool entrepreneurs, like Lulu's Alison Schwartz, Apartment Therapy's Maxwell Ryan, and Ello's Paul Budnitz at its Innovation Conference. Plus, in between rocking out and networking, you can catch a flick at the accompanying film fest, dedicated to emerging filmmakers. What we're trying to say is, it's going to be a very busy week.
