Dakota Johnson may be synonymous with Fifty Shades of Grey , but girl knows how to hold her own without blindfolds, whips, or other BDSM props, thankyouverymuch. Dakota looked so effortlessly comfortable hosting last night's Saturday Night Live, we're not-so-secretly hoping she'll be back again and again.
After an endearing opening — featuring quick cameos from her famous parents Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson — in which Dakota, of course, joked about Fifty Shades, the actress seamlessly segued between sketches and characters all evening. In fact, she was so good that we wouldn't mind seeing her become a permanent cast member. She had tons of screen time and participated in some of the night's funniest sketches.

Our favorite, "Say What You Want To Say," set to the tune of Sara Bareilles' "Brave," basically captured the inner-dialogue of every woman who really wants to say something kind of rude but ends up telling polite white lies instead. For example, the age-old "who didn't put enough money toward the group restaurant bill?" dilemma is easily solved when Leslie Jones' character calls out Pete Davidson's cheap ass. Can we all please vow to be more like this in real life?
Dakota did catch some flack for partaking in an ISIS-themed sketch making fun of Toyota's "My Bold Dad" Super Bowl commercial. Not going to lie, we giggled a little, but we'll let you decide which side you're on after watching the spoof below.
