If you were beginning to wonder if Taylor Swift had snapped up every last plaid coat in stock, worry not. Though she arguably owns most of them, it appears Reese Witherspoon got her hands on one of the last to remain. Yesterday, while most celebrities were jetting into L.A. for the Grammys, Witherspoon left California behind for London to attend the BAFTA Awards. There, she didn’t end up taking home any trophies, but she certainly won an award — in our eyes, at least — for her outstandingly cool airport look.
Dressing well for a 12-hour flight isn’t exactly easy, but her black-and-white-checked jacket, which probably doubled as a blanket somewhere over the Atlantic, did the job brilliantly. Her simple sweater and skinny jeans (which have enough stretch to be airplane-approved) got a big upgrade from the fancy coat, and those pointy-toed Saint Laurent Chelsea booties didn’t hurt her look either.
Sure, a BAFTA would've been nice, but we’d be happy with that coat. Here’s where to get it.
