The #AskHerMore campaign is a movement that encourages reporters to ask female celebrities more than just what designers they're wearing or what their beauty routines are. While we're still waiting for E! presenters to make that change, Anne Hathaway took one of those stock questions and used it to praise her Interstellar co-star Jessica Chastain.
When Us Weekly asked what her beauty routine is for this red carpet season, the actress said she'd be "wearing sweatpants on the couch." This response sounds more like a J Lawr soundbite than a Hathaway interview. But, hear her out.

Hathaway told Us a story about when she and Chastain were both nominated for the 2013 Academy Awards. (Hathway won that year for her role in Les Miserables.) "I remember we were both at a luncheon before it started, and I was sitting next to her and I asked her: 'So what’s the first thing you're gonna eat Monday?' And, she said, 'What do you mean?'" Hathaway was referring to the extreme dieting many actresses adopt during awards season.
"'Monday, when we can eat again — what's the first thing you're going to eat?'" Hathaway clarified. "And, she goes, 'Oh, yeah. I don't do that.'"
"So, my beauty routine is to be more like Jessica Chastain. She doesn't worry about it. She just shows up, and is who she is," Hathaway concluded.
This is a beautiful, refreshing moment not only for Hathaway — one you don't often see make headlines. And, it may be enough for the reluctant Hathaway fan to come around. (Us Weekly)
