This Gender-Bending Wedding Shoot Is A Game-Changer

Anyone who's planned a wedding has probably noticed: Aside from the odd article or photo, most wedding magazines don't really speak to same-sex couples. It's that exclusion that Love Inc. seeks to fix.
Now in its third issue, Love Inc. is an online magazine that proudly celebrates all love equally, whether between a same-sex or different-sex couple — and, refreshingly, whether the people in those relationships are cis or genderqueer. The current issue features a lovely photoshoot in which Dylan Stephens, a male model, shows off wedding fashions for both men and women — a concept that "shatters gender barriers and highlights our mission of [representing] all love equally," a Love Inc. rep told us in a statement.
Far from paying lip service to inclusivity, Love Inc.'s mission actually permeates every page. In addition to the usual articles about wedding venues and honeymoon destinations, the current issue features a guide to unisex fragrances, an engagement-watch shopping guide (for those who don't do the traditional ring), and a directory of "equality-minded" wedding vendors.
It also features the most thorough guide to wedding-invite etiquette we've seen, with tips on how to address invites to same-sex and different-sex couples, non-binary friends, couples with different last names, and so on. This is info you're not going to find in Emily Post, and the acknowledgement that humans come in a range of identities and orientations is a huge leap forward in the traditional wedding-mag space.
