Taylor Swift Has Been Avoiding Exes All Week

Taylor Swift is having quite the rude awakening this week. She's slowly realizing the perils of dating someone in your own industry, especially during award season. First, there was that near run-in with Jake Gyllenhaal at a Golden Globes after-party. Now, TMZ is reporting an encounter between Swift and her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, and this time, she couldn't avoid an interaction. Swift and her newest gal pals — the members of Haim — were standing in a hotel lobby when lo and behold, enter Harry Styles from stage left. The TMZ camera operators couldn't believe their luck. What would go down? Would Swift be able to shake it off?  Taylor went with the cold shoulder approach. She spent most of Styles' encounter with her group looking at her phone with her arms crossed. If ever a pose said, "Don't you dare speak to me," this was it. The members of Haim moved in various formations to block their friend from having to speak to her ex. The elegant avoidance dance almost looked choreographed.  Almost as soon as the encounter began, it was over. Taylor and her friends made a swift retreat, and Styles went in the other direction. To all the shippers out there praying for a Haylor reunion: It might be time to abandon hope. (TMZ)
