Beyoncé Gave Her Hair Color An Upgrade

Beyoncé wasted zero time giving herself a new-year-new-you makeover. The singer, who is no stranger to the ways of the hair upgrade, sported a new, salon-fresh color while sitting courtside at a basketball game this weekend. Now, we're mad that she's so fresh—fresher than uuuus.

But, dye her hair she did — and it looks majorly on-trend. Beyoncé seems to have adopted a rich-brown shade, with a slight smattering of blonde. "I added highlights that lightened up her whole look with different shades of blonde, honey, and platinum," said celebrity colorist Rita Hazan, who is responsible for Bey's new 'do. It's a warmed-up version of a typical brunette, and a bit more dynamic than the golden strands she was rocking before.

Bey's hair was tucked under a (seriously cute) wool cap all night, so we didn't get the closest peek at her mane. But, if we know one thing about the Queen, it's that any color she gets will look twice as good mid-hair-flip.
