In light of the recent love-fest, it's hard not to see the influence of Taylor Swift on Lorde's Golden Globes outfit.The 18-year-old singer turned out in a very modern version of a pantsuit. Custom-designed by Narciso Rodriguez, it featured a flowy, high-waisted pant, longline, unstructured blazer, and — the most Swifty of tops — the crop top. Lorde even followed Taylor's lead and left the belly button to our imaginations.
Crop top aside, it's a very Lorde-like look. Forget the canary yellow and regal red ball gowns — Lorde looks damn good in her custom tux. It's a very sophisticated, business-babe look — perfect for picking up a Best Original Song award, perhaps? Good luck, Lorde!
