UPDATE: Since we first heard of Michael Sam's engagement on January 9, the NFL player confirmed the exciting news on Twitter. He posted a picture of the proposal earlier today. "Thank you for saying yes," he captioned the photo. Our hearts are full of feelings.

Didn't we tell you 2015 was gonna be a big year for Michael Sam? TMZ is reporting the NFL defensive end is engaged to Vito Cammisano. (He's the one Sam kissed when he was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in 2014.)
The two were reportedly engaged during their European vacation. Though neither has released an official statement, a friend of Cammisano's shared an Instagram congratulating the couple on their engagement with the hashtag #vitoisengaged. And, while that may be too speculative for you, what say you about the fact that Sam "liked" this photo?

It's not clear who popped the question. But, it doesn't really matter. What makes this even more wonderful is Sam celebrated his 25th birthday on Thursday. How perfect is this celebration of their love as a gift?
