Spotify has concocted a whiz bang web app called The Elvis Influence that connects the dots between any artist and the King. It's kinda like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, but with Elvis the Pelvis (and a pound of bacon).
So far we've tried Cocteau Twins, anarcho-punk band Crass, grime artist Dizzee Rascal, vampire punks The Damned, industrial noise pioneers Einstürzende Neubauten, and One Direction, with fascinating results. Also worth noting: Danzig is directly connected to Elvis. Duh!
