Lena Dunham's hair threw us for more than a few loops last year. First, the actress totally overhauled her 'do, going from brunette to platinum blonde — and snipping it into a bowl cut. Before we could get used to the idea of a towheaded Lena, the actress changed things up again by going green.
Truthfully, we were excited to see whether 2015 would be the year of more major hair changes for the main Girls girl. But, it seems Lena's gone in the opposite direction — back to brunette. It's not a huge surprise. On a recent BFF jaunt with Taylor Swift, we noticed that she was growing out her colorful locks. That returning-to-natural process can be a real pain, though, so we understand why she jumped the gun and reached for the dye. Patience isn't exactly our strong suit, either.
The hue she landed on isn't quite her natural color, though. It seems like more of an auburn from the photo. Not exactly earth-shattering, but definitely different. Hey, maybe we're in for some Hannah Horvath-level antics later on in the year. As long as it doesn't involve a Q-tip, we're on board.
