There's nothing like an untreatable virus to ruin your holidays. Unfortunately, Lindsay Lohan is finding that out the hard way after contracting chikungunya while vacationing in French Polynesia. The virus is spread by mosquitoes and causes joint pain and fever.
Though the illness has no treatment, the World Health Organization says it is rarely fatal. In the meantime, Lohan is doing her best not to let being sick derail her holiday plans too much. After tweeting that "being sick is no fun," the actress shared a vacation snap of her and two pals. According to the caption, she refuses to "let a virus effect [sic] my peaceful vacation."
