In terms of things we'd rather not do over Christmas, having sinus surgery falls somewhere between singing carols with Kim Jong-un and walking barefoot over a runway of broken ornaments. Unfortunately, Kaley Cuoco wasn't able to dodge that bullet, so she spent part of her holiday in the hospital with tubes up her nose. Nightmare.
Fear not, fans. Judging by her Instagram feed, Cuoco was able to spend at least part of Christmas Day at home with husband Ryan Sweeting and her beloved pups. Sometime after that, though, the Big Bang Theory star underwent a procedure on her sinuses. It all sounds pretty miserable, but there was a silver lining.

The actress woke to find her tennis pro husband nuzzled next to her. Apparently her "noodle" is a wonderful, loving caregiver who can make even nostril trauma seem romantic. Dude also planned a surprise blowout for the actress' 29th birthday last month, further setting himself up as a shining example of a supreme spouse. Also, he answers to "noodle." What a guy.

Aww. Cuteness. Here's hoping that New Year's Eve at least makes up for a crummy Christmas. It's the couple's first wedding anniversary, so it better be good — or at least not involve any scalpels.
