Reese Witherspoon’s Reading List Looks A Lot Like Yours

Cheryl Strayed's book Wild inspired her Golden Globe-nominated performance in the big-screen adaptation, and she produced Gone Girl. If any celebrity has their finger on the pulse of what's hot in the book world, it's Reese Witherspoon. Let's take a look at what she's reading, shall we?
Turns out, she's probably reading the same stuff you are. (Well, maybe not Permission to Parent — unless you have something to tell us.) As you can see from her Instagram feed, her nightstand is stacked with all the modern go-girl classics. Lena Dunham's Not That Kind of Girl. Amy Poehler's Yes Please. Diane von Furstenberg's The Woman I Wanted To Be. Respect.

There's also Big Little Lies by Australian author Liane Moriarty, which is described by Moriarty's site as a "brilliant take on ex-husbands and second wives, mothers and daughters, school-yard scandal, and the dangerous little lies we tell ourselves just to survive." Sounds like a good Hollywood project, hmm? Trying to tell us something, Reese?
