A pair of Jimmy Kimmel fans now have a hilarious engagement story after yesterday's taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live! After being contacted by an audience member's lovesick boyfriend, the talk show host staged a fake scavenger hunt for the lucky lady which culminated in a ring and a proposal —and an Elmo suit.
The set-up wasn't without a few awkward technical errors, but audience member Sandra gamely hustled to get the items she needed. Among them was the Hollywood Boulevard Elmo, who, lo and behold, turned out to be her boyfriend, David. Elmo David wasted no time in popping the question on stage. Any guesses as to what she said?
