There's a bittersweet air surrounding next week's release of Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. On the one hand, audiences will get to see one of the last roles Robin Williams completed before his death last summer. On the other hand, it means there's one less Robin Williams project for us to look forward to.
At Thursday's New York premiere, which was attended by Williams' wife Susan Schneider, the beloved actor was on everybody's mind.
“I will never forget his generosity,” Ben Stiller told Variety. “I got to work with him a few times over the years, and he was the kindest person.”

Ricky Gervais also recalled Williams, whom he considered a dear friend. "He made you feel good however he was feeling," Gervais said. "I will always remember the time I was doing the Bob Woodruff benefit with the soldiers and Robin stayed by the stage all night watching all the acts. He laughed and told everyone how good they were. He didn’t have to do that. He treated everyone with so much respect. That sums him up. He was so sweet.”
Owen Wilson, who starred with Williams in all three Night at the Museum movies, remembered the actor for their time together off set and recalled just how brilliant he was. "He was one of the best," Wilson said. "There will never be anyone like him.”
