Another day in December, another year-end round up. And, of course YouTube is in on the action, releasing its annual video highlighting 2014's best video moments — and there were plenty.
The site had no shortage of memes to reference — from the #IceBucketChallenge to couples kissing for the first time. YouTube gathered 100 contributors to participate in the five-minute video (the last 90 seconds are almost entirely dedicated to credits.) The video is a veritable who's who of Internet stars — the VlogBrothers, Bethany Mota, and, our favorite, the tiny hamster. The clip hops from one pop culture reference to the next, all soundtracked by DJ Earworm (who, you'll remember, is responsible for his own viral video, The United State Of Pop).
Check out the video below. While we love to feel warm and fuzzy about the past 12 months, we can probably all agree we're not quite ready to feel nostalgic for "Let It Go."
