Chris Martin announced today that Coldplay's next album will be called A Head Full of Dreams. It may also be the group's last.
"It's our seventh thing, and the way we look at it is like the last Harry Potter book or something," Martin told Radio 1's Zane Lowe. "Not to say there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something."
What ever could Coldplay be completing, aside from Grey's Anatomy sound tracks and cool, suburbanites' fall-themed playlists? Has everything from Parachutes and Viva La Vida to the Gwyneth Paltrow album been part of a larger, unknown scheme that we're supposed to figure out?
"I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing, otherwise we wouldn't put everything into it," Martin continued. C'mon Chris: Tell us your secrets, because we have some questions.
