To say that Zelda Williams has had a rough year is a gross understatement. The 25-year-old actress lost her father, Robin, in August, but has consistently shown grace and strength as she and her family weather his tragic death.
Not surprisingly, the Hollywood royal had more on her mind than cranberry sauce and football games this Thanksgiving. Williams took to Instagram to share this emotional message. Yes, it hit us right in the feels.
The accompanying image of two women embracing appears to be that of Williams and her mother, film producer Marsha Garces. Garces was married to Robin Williams from 1989 to 2010, and is mother to his two youngest children, Zelda and Cody.
Hopefully Williams' inspiring message will sink in with us all during the family holiday extravaganza. Go ahead and hug Mom and Dad now, won't you?
