On November 23, 1992, a fair maiden was born to a country music singer and his bride. They named her Destiny Hope in the belief that she would go on to great things. They appointed Dolly Parton as her godmother. And, at the age of 16, she changed her name to Miley Ray. Today, she turns 22.

While we can only imagine the sort of celebratory shindig the pop star has planned — though it's likely that herbage, nipple pasties, and The Flaming Lips will somehow be involved — we've decided to toast the birthday girl with an homage to her Instagram account.
