All The Outfits From Solange’s Epic Wedding Weekend

There aren’t many stars whose personal style straddles the line between eclectic and totally low-key. But, onstage and off, Solange Knowles somehow strikes a perfect balance. And, obviously her wedding this weekend was no different. We already expected Solange to do something special at her New Orleans nuptials, sartorially speaking, but we weren't prepared for the results to be so, so good.
Vogue reports that the singer married her longtime boyfriend Alan Ferguson in New Orleans yesterday, eschewing the typical frilly gown for an ivory jumpsuit by Stéphane Rolland. With a plunging neckline and a matching backless cape, the minimalist ensemble is jaw-dropping without trying too hard. Rather than arriving in a limo, the couple pedaled to the ceremony on matching white bicycles — which, come to think of it, makes the jumpsuit an incredibly practical choice.
For the family wedding portrait by photographer Rog Walker, the bride chose a white Kenzo gown custom-made by Humberto Leon. In true Solange fashion, she topped off the floor-skimming piecee with unexpected touches, like a second matching cape and gold cuffs. While it's generally assumed that the bride is the only person at the wedding who should wear white, all of the guests (including Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Blue Ivy) stuck to the all-white theme as well, which made an even bigger impact look.
Of course, that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the bride's several outfit changes this weekend — from a rehearsal dinner sheath dresses to a full-body ruffled party frock. Leave it to Solange to set the bar for bridal style way way high. Click through to see all the looks. (Vogue)
