Plenty of people would give up a vital organ for the chance to lock lips with Liam Hemsworth. Evidently, Jennifer Lawrence is not one of those people.
During an appearance on Friday's taping of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Hemsworth revealed that his kissing scenes with his Hunger Games costar were "pretty uncomfortable."
Do Gale and Katniss have bad chemistry? Did that whole Miley-caught-Jen-barfing incident make things awkward? Is it because he knew she'd been smooching Peeta, too? Nope.
"When you look at it on the outside, it looks like a great picture," the Australian actor told Fallon. "She's one of my best friends, I love her, but if we had a kissing scene, she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish or something that was disgusting. Right before the scene she'd be like, 'Yeah, I ate tuna' or 'I had garlic, and I didn't brush my teeth.' And I'd be like, 'Fantastic, I can't wait to get in there and taste it!'"
Oh, Jennifer. Say it isn't so. While we always appreciate a good costar-on-costar prank, who in their right mind could possibly sabotage a makeout session with a Hemsworth? We sentence you to 40 breath mints and three shots of mouthwash. (Us Weekly)
