It started with a tweet. "Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty," wrote Diplo, who goes by BABY DADDY on Twitter. That alone is pretty rude, even if he's joking. Diplo has over 1.3 million followers, and one of them was more than ready to put his suggestion into action.
Eric Spivak is now the owner of the Get Taylor Swift A Booty campaign on Fundly and Diplo tweeted a link to the site. He might have contributed, too; someone with the named Wesley Pentz (Diplo's real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz) gave $35. The user appears to have joined Fundly specifically for this campaign.

Lorde, Taylor Swift's good friend, quickly jumped to her defense. "@diplo should we do something about your tiny penis while we're at it hm," the singer tweeted back at Diplo. As of this post, Lorde's tweet has over 15,000 retweets and almost 20,000 favorites.
This morning, NME pointed out that, "Diplo and Lorde aren't strangers. The DJ has previously remixed Lorde's 'Tennis Court' and contributed to the soundtrack for the upcoming film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, which Lorde has curated in its entirety." So, things could be awkward the next time Lorde and Diplo find themselves at a Hunger Games event or awards show.
Lorde wasn't the only person to stand up for Swift — her many fans were quick to fight back. "@diplo someone should make you a kickstarter bc no one knows who the fuck you are," @sierrafairytale tweeted (and Diplo retweeted).
