Hypothetically speaking: If two famous people were seen leaving one of said famous person's house, are they dating? Well, that depends. Were these famous people seen canoodling on a haunted hayride? Yes. Were they romping through a corn maze together? Mhmm. Then, yes, by Hollywood dating standards, these two hypothetical famous people are dating.
But, let's cut the BS. E! News is reporting that Miley Cyrus and Arnold Schwarzenegger's son, Patrick, are a not-so-new item (we'll get to that in a sec). Multiple sources have noted that the two have been "casually dating" (read: the hypothetical situations above), but "are not officially together."

This sort of buzz surrounding the close friends in question isn't new, however. P Schwarz casually dropped a line in a 2011 interview with Details that he had his eye on Cyrus. The two reportedly became "close friends," but never made it past the coffee shop phase as Cyrus reunited with now ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth.
