For those caught up in the are-they-or-aren't-they that is the Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin saga, here's a play-by-play.
On October 27, reports emerged that Lawrence and Martin split. But, a source tells People that on that same day, the actress visited Martin's Malibu home. She stayed for a few hours, so says this source, and she reportedly returned three nights later.
The two went out separately on Halloween, however. Lawrence went to a party at Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel's house, because that's what you do when you sit at the cool-kids table in Hollywood. Martin went trick-or-treating in Malibu with Gwyneth Paltrow and their children, Apple and Moses, because that what you do when you are a good father.

On Saturday, November 1, however, Lawrence was seen driving to Martin's Malibu home once more. Another source told People that the two are "very much together." Curiouser and curiouser, friends.
There are many reasons why Lawrence would be making pit stops at Martin's home — a home that no source will let us forget is in Malibu. Maybe she's collecting some of her things and giving him back some of his. Maybe they're remaining friends. They really only dated a brief amount of time, and it's possible they've decided to remain friendly. Plus, we shouldn't be really shocked here. Hanging out with exes is kind of Martin's thing. Remember that time he threw Paltrow a birthday party?
