E! News reports that Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have broken up. Though, at this time, neither the actress' rep nor Martin himself have commented.
This news, if it's true, comes as a surprise. Gwyneth Paltrow (after she and Martin consciously uncoupled this past spring) was reportedly planning to meet with Lawrence before J. Lawr met the Martin children.
Lawrence also seemed quite happy lately. Nearly every news item of her four-month relationship with Martin has been about how in love they were. If the split is real, then maybe it had something to do with Paltrow? It's clear she wanted to give Martin's new girlfriend her seal of approval. And, Lawrence may or may not have dissed Paltrow in a recent interview.
Regardless of her relationship status, Lawrence still has reason to celebrate today: She was named Vulture's Most Valuable Star Of 2014. (E! News)
