Kelly Osbourne Honors Joan Rivers With A New Tattoo

"I'm completely heartbroken by the loss of my beloved Joan. Not only was she my boss, she was and will always be my teacher, therapist, closest friend, inspiration and the only grandmother I ever knew," Kelly Osbourne wrote in a heartfelt Facebook message after Joan Rivers passed away. Osbourne also choked up while remembering Rivers on the Fashion Police: Remembering Joan special. "Every moment I got to spend with her was amazing," Osbourne said.
Now, Osbourne is remembering Joan with yet another tribute — this time a more permanent one. Last night, she revealed a new tattoo on Instagram. Osbourne's new ink was done by artist Mark Mahoney of the Shamrock Social Club, which is where Zelda Williams also got her new tattoos in honor of her late father.

Osbourne's new white-ink tat is a bumble bee. In the photo caption, Osbourne explains its significance: "If you looked at aerodynamics, at science, the bumble bee should not be able to fly. Physically, it was just not anatomically equipped to soar. Yet it did, defying gravity, defying logic. The bee was a creature that defied and beat the odds, a miracle. Thank you for being my Miracle."
Ahead, get a look at Osbourne's sweet tribute to a legendary woman.
