There was a lot to love about last night's episode of American Horror Story: Freak Show, but the highlight was surely Jessica Lange crooning Lana Del Rey's "Gods and Monsters."
Ms. Elsa Mars was all decked out in a slinky gown and matching gloves, with a boa (naturally) as she fondles the '50s-style mic and makes eyes at mysterious Edward Mordrake, played by Wes Bentley. Since last night's episode was the first of a two-part Halloween special, there are plenty of jack-o'-lanterns to set the mood, as well as the weird green smoke that heralds Mordrake's entrance. Yep, this was definitely worth waiting for, no matter how afraid of clowns you are.
