Are The Fifty Shades Of Grey Stars Lacking Chemistry?

They've got Bey, they've got the toys...but have they got chemistry?

Er, maybe not. The film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey is undergoing reshoots, which is sparking talk that a lack of chemistry between stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson is to blame. Which is a pretty big deal, considering that the whole point of the film is to watch them get it on.

Sources on the film have told Us Weekly that the scenes between characters Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele weren't "passionate" enough. Both Dornan and Johnson were seen reshooting a kissing scene in Vancouver last week.

Though Dornan has skyrocketed to sex symbol status since his casting, other sources seem less confident in Johnson's casting.

"Dakota isn't coming off sexy enough," an insider said. "Ana needs to be naive, not a dishrag."

A representative for Universal has squashed claims about a lack of chemistry, saying, "No one should question the heat or intensity of our actors."

At any rate, the film itself doesn't come out until February 13, 2015. Surely that's enough time to work out any kinks? (Daily Mail)
