Jason Momoa’s Game Of Thrones Audition Tape Is So Fierce

The audition process can be pretty terrifying — even for the most seasoned actors. Just don't tell that to Jason Momoa.
A video of the 35-year-old actor's Game of Thrones audition has surfaced online, and the only thing that's terrifying about it is Jason Momoa. The physically imposing Hawaii native played the Dothraki leader (and Khaleesi's hubby), Khal Drogo, on season one of HBO's smash hit. And, after watching his ferocious audition tape, it's hard to imagine that GoT masterminds David Benioff and D.B. Weiss even considered anyone else for the role.
The tape shows Momoa tearing through a version of the Haka, an ancient ritual from the Māori people of New Zealand, usually performed by the country's feared All Blacks rugby squad prior to their matches. We're going to start performing it ourselves every Monday morning. The rest of the week just doesn't stand a chance.

Momoa can next be seen as Aquaman in Zack Snyder's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Watch him lose his mind below.
