Why Is Lily Allen Wearing This Hat?

We love a statement piece as much as anyone, but usually that statement is a big bright necklace or a major asymmetrical skirt. But, that's not the kind of statement these singers are making.

Nope. They're cursing. On hats. On shirts. Just wearing words that might make your grandma blush, you know...NBD. And, while we expect cheeky behavior from some pop stars — Rihanna, you keep doing you — sometimes the people who choose to wear words that would get you bleeped (or even banned) on TV will surprise you.

It's not that we're shocked by the inscription on the bright pink cap Lily Allen wore out to The Nice Guy lounge in West Hollywood. It's more like we're just baffled. Lily just wrapped up her tour with a final stop in Los Angeles, so she must have been struck by the mood to celebrate. This means covering oneself in words, because everyone loves a word party. Maybe the one on her head was meant to provide counterbalance to the others?
