Photo: REX USA.Have the sleuths at TMZ unearthed the name of Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes' daughter? We won't leave you hanging. According to a birth certificate the site obtained, baby Gosling-Mendes' name is Esmeralda Amada Gosling.
As previously reported, Gosling and Mendes welcomed their daughter on Friday, September 12. That's the date of birth on this certificate. The parents' names are listed as Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendez. Although Mendes currently spells her name with an "s," several of her older credits on IMDb have her name spelled with a "z."

As for the name's inspiration, well, one of the most well-known Esmereldas in pop culture would have to be from The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. TMZ also points out that Eva's character in the 2007 film We Own the Night was named Amada.
The couple has yet to confirm their daughter's name. And, we will continue to hope and dream that Ryan Gosling always addresses his daughter with a "Hey, girl." (TMZ)
