If the early reviews are to be believed, Ben Affleck takes the creep factor to bold new heights in next week's grim whodunnit, Gone Girl. But, last night the actor was all charm when he sat down with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
The 42-year-old Affleck is in the midst of a post-Argo career resurgence, with his already acclaimed performance in Gone Girl to be followed by his highly anticipated turn as Batman in the upcoming superhero mash-up, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
But, according to the actor, his kids couldn't care less.
"Despite the fact that I'm playing Batman now, people would say, 'Are your kids into it?' The truth is, [they're] not,” Affleck told the late night host. “If I was doing the sequel to Frozen, I would be a hero. My two older daughters could give a sh-t about Batman and they've now passed that affection onto my son. He's always like, 'Papa, can I watch Frozen?' And I'm like, 'No, dude, it's not on again!'"

Despite his obvious Frozen fatigue, Affleck refused to conform to the heteronormative assumption that boys should like superheroes, not super princesses, by shoving Batman action figures in his 2-year-old son's face. Instead, he found Jimmy Fallon and Idina Menzel's rendition of "Let It Go" on Youtube.
"He loves it," Affleck said of Fallon's take on the hit song. "And, he wants me to sing along. I can't tell my son that I can't sing. So I just mumble."
And, with that, here's the world's greatest dad, mumbling "Let It Go" on national television. Superman is shaking in his tights.
