Could This Collection Be Any More Kardashian-y?

If there's anyone that could make a blazer sexy — nay, extremely sexy — it's Olivier Rousteing. And, at yesterday's spring '15 Balmain show, he proved his cut-and-sew chops would do just that. The show was super-charged with electricity (to the tune of Michael Jackson's "Stop Pressuring Me"), pushing the boundaries of ready-to-wear with silhouettes that were barely there in an in-your-face way.
Lapels twisted into belly-button-height knots, leaving the sides of midriffs exposed as built-in ventilation. (What? Dancing all night can get hot!) This is, after all, part of a collection inspired by Rousteing's own after-party last season. Indeed, the redefined work pieces would look as striking beneath the flashing lights of a nightclub as they would under the flash bulbs at the end of the runway. And, if last night's spring '15 after-party — attended by Kendall, Kim, Kanye, and Kris (in monochromatic shades, as usual) — is any indication of what's to come next season, you can expect even more body-conscious black-and-white numbers sure to be coveted by fans of Kimye and Balmain alike.
