Kerry Washington & President Obama Speak Out Against Sexual Assault

Kerry Washington, Jon Hamm, and Questlove have all joined forces with President Obama and Vice President Biden as part of a new PSA targeting sexual assault.
The "It's On Us" campaign made its debut yesterday as part of a new White House program. It's a series intended to "create new social norms" by educating men to do their part in preventing and ending sexual assault.
"Most men are not comfortable with violence against women, but don't speak out because they believe that other men accept this behavior," a White House official told The Hill.
The video will air at collegiate sporting events, including the NCAA's March Madness tournament, and will also receive social media plugs on networks such as MTV, VH1, BET, and CMT. EA Sports will also include promotion of the campaign in marketing surrounding its more popular games.

"It's On Us" is much more than just a video. It includes a set of best practices released to universities to help them better address sexual assault among students. The Department of Justice will also give more than $6 million in grants dedicated to creating and developing sexual assault prevention programs to 18 colleges.
This is a great and much needed initiative — even though we haven't seen this many celebs behind a singular cause since the Ice Bucket Challenge. We look forward to the way this new program educates men and women about sexual assault. Check out the video below. (The Hill)
