The New Way To Wear Your Jean Jacket This Fall

You’ve already got a great jean jacket. You also own a fun pair of sneakers. Now, forgo the pants and tee you typically pair them with and try a little something new, inspired by the Burberry spring '15 collection. Introducing denim for the first time, Christopher Bailey whipped up a few different outfits using those two basic items.
In version one, the jacket was buttoned up all the way to the top and paired with textured pencil skirts (or dresses, for all we know) that fell below the knee. In your own wardrobe, these layering pieces could come from your favorite fast-fashion or vintage store, and they could be languishing in your closet because they just feel like too much when worn alone. Here, they're unexpectedly cool.
Of course, Burberry's toppers were covered in vinyl and shearling, and featured nipped, cropped waists; these aren't your typical faded blues. But, the looks built around them can easily be created with pieces you already own. Click through for all the tips. If you start practicing now, you'll nail the style by the time the Burberry pieces launch next spring.
