That's over two decades that Gosling has spent in the spotlight. Yet, he's never been plagued by the kinds of scandals and controversies that have swallowed some of his counterparts whole. Upon being cast on the variety show, a 12-year-old Gosling was interviewed on the Canadian morning show Canada AM. Whereas some boys his age might have succumbed to the moment, Gosling already had the makings of an old pro: poised, polished, and polite.
