Sorry, but your newsfeed is about to be clogged up with yet another first-day-at-school snapshot posted by a proud parent. Oh, c'mon. Let's all let Madonna have her moment.
The Material Girl shared a snapshot of her teenaged son Rocco accompanying younger siblings Mercy and David to school. Noticeably absent from the family photo is 17-year-old Lourdes, who graduated from high school this summer.
"Dis how we do," the pop star wrote. "Spicoli takes his little bro and sis to the Lycee! #proud."
Spicoli, of course, refers to the Fast Times at Ridgemont High slacker hero, played by Madonna's ex-husband Sean Penn. A slightly strange reference, but given Rocco Ritchie's blond mop and skater-dude ensemble, pretty right on the money.
Mercy and David, meanwhile, opted for more traditional school uniforms. We just hope Mama Madonna at least loaded them down with some awesome Lisa Frank folders and gel pens before she drove them to school in her minivan adorned with those family stick-figure stickers.
