The massive nude photo leak that stopped the Internet in its tracks Sunday, has sparked an array of reactions across the web. Celebrities are at the forefront of the outcry and have been quick to condemn the leak — and anyone who perpetuates it by sharing or viewing the images online.
The latest boldface name to express her dismay is Emma Watson. The star took to Twitter Monday where she called out those making light of the situation. "Even worse than seeing women's privacy violated on social media is reading the accompanying comments that show such a lack of empathy," Watson tweeted.

The Harry Potter actress is friends with the leak's main target, Jennifer Lawrence, and likely feels added unease not just as a celebrity, but as a woman, too.

Lena Dunham was also quick to comment on the incident, echoing the widely popular belief that any compliance in sharing or viewing the photos is akin to a sex crime.
"Remember, when you look at these pictures you are violating these women again and again. It's not okay," the actress tweeted. "Seriously, do not forget that the person who stole these pictures and leaked them is not a hacker: they're a sex offender."
Dunham goes on to address some people's insinuation that because the affected celebrities took nude photos of themselves for private consumption, that the leak is somehow their fault.
"The 'don't take naked pics if you don't want them online' argument is the 'she was wearing a short skirt' of the web," Dunham added.
If there's a silver lining to glean from all of this, it's been the quick, thoughtful, and empathetic reactions by some Hollywood's most influential women, who are reminding everyone that what a woman chooses to do with her body is her choice, and hers alone.
