When Instagram announced the launch of Hyperlapse, its separate timelapse video app, we were immediately excited by all the gorgeousness it would bring to our feeds. This new tool boasts instant sharability and image stabilization, among other features. In other words, it's perfect for Fashion Week. With the New York portion kicking off next Thursday, we're willing to bet that tons of influencers, photographers, and models will be using this new product to share captivating vignettes from behind the scenes.
As it turns out, we pretty much called it. The fashion industry — known for being an Instagram-happy bunch — is already 'lapsing up a storm. We're loving what these early adaptors are bringing to the table, from Vogue's quick office tour to Badgley Mischka's mesmerizing sketch.
