Hola, Tanneritos. Are you sitting down? You may want to find a place to park it while you read this news.
Ready? Here goes.
Warner Bros. Television is reportedly considering a plan to bring Full House back to TV. We know a similar rumor recently circulated as an April Fool's prank, but, per Gossip Cop, this is a legitimate story.
John Stamos, a.k.a. Uncle Jesse, was spearheading a real effort to reboot the show last year. Original creator Jeff Franklin and executive producer Bob Boyett (as in "Full House is a Miller-Boyett production") would be back at the helm, and cast members including Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber were all in talks to return. Bob Saget and Dave Coulier were also "involved." Unfortunately, nary an Olsen twin name was dropped.
The Stamos revival is actually different from today's Full House reboot rumor. He's not involved in the current round of studio pitches, but said pitches are reportedly happening. Warner Bros. may be operating off of the Boy Meets World/Girl Meets World model, where some original cast members return for an updated version of the show.
It seems like everywhere you look, there's a Full House rumor. There are hearts that want the show to come back, Warner Bros. And, hands that will hold onto it. Look at that: It's only 8 a.m., and we're already dropping the mic and seeing ourselves out. (Gossip Cop)
