Okay, so the OITNB scene stealer isn't exactly diving headfirst into the music biz, but she is flexing those musical muscles. Her first role outside of her Emmy-winning turn as Crazy Eyes has her crooning gospel.
This week, the 2015 indie musical flick Pearly Gates honored its leading lady by releasing a free download of her song "Promise You." It's a toned down, acoustic track that sounds like something Jason Robert Brown would write for Tracy Chapman. Aduba sounds incredible, too.
